Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page explains your right to cancel an order, when a deposit is refundable, and how Care Plan cancellations work. It applies to every package sold on this site and forms part of the Terms of Service.

Your EU right of withdrawal

As a consumer buying at a distance within the EU, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from an order without giving a reason, starting from the day you receive your order confirmation. For a service like ours, where work is scheduled to begin before that 14-day window ends, we ask you to expressly confirm — via the terms checkbox at checkout — that you’d like work to begin before the 14 days are up. Once you’ve made that request, if you later cancel during the withdrawal period, you’re liable for the proportion of the service already performed up to the point you cancel, calculated the same way as the general cancellation terms below.

Cancelling before work starts

• 5 or more business days before the agreed kickoff date: the full deposit (or full payment, for packages under €1,500) is refunded.
• Fewer than 5 business days before kickoff, or after kickoff has begun: any project stage not yet started (per the stages listed on the Process page) is refunded; any stage already under way is not.

Cancelling after work has started

Refunds are calculated per stage. Once a stage listed in your package’s delivery timeline has begun, the portion of the price allocated to that stage is not refundable; any stages not yet started are refunded in full. We’ll confirm the exact figure in writing within 5 business days of your cancellation request.

The Conversion Audit and other short packages

Because the Conversion Audit (and similarly short, full-payment packages) is delivered within 10 days, the same "before work starts / after work starts" rule applies on a compressed timeline — cancel before the review stage begins for a full refund; once review has started, it is not refundable.

Care Plans

Care Plans can be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ notice, effective from your next billing date. The current billing month, once charged, is not refunded, since it covers hosting management and monitoring already provided for that period; cancellation simply stops future billing.

How to cancel

Email support@artificial-designer.com with your order reference. We confirm cancellations and any refund amount in writing within 5 business days.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are issued to the original payment method, within 14 business days of confirmation. While checkout runs in demo mode, no real payment is taken, so no real refund is due — the policy above describes how it will operate once a live payment method is in place.
