CONCEPT — WEBSITE + E-COMMERCE · SELF-INITIATED
Atlas
Brief
Atlas is a project we set ourselves: a marketing site and a working online store for a fictional outdoor-equipment brand, built on the same editorial system as this site — asymmetric grid, hairline rules, real cart and checkout logic — to show what Website Design and E-commerce look like combined into one build, without a client brief constraining the decisions.
Decisions
The product grid uses the same crop-tick motif as this site’s own work grid, scaled down to read as packaging labels rather than decoration. The checkout keeps the deposit/VAT-style honesty pattern — clear line items, no hidden totals — even though a consumer gear store wouldn’t need a deposit split; the goal was proving the commerce logic transfers cleanly to a different kind of catalogue, not adding complexity for its own sake.

What it demonstrates
A full site-plus-store build using this studio’s actual commerce components (cart, checkout, product pages) rather than a static mockup — the same system sold under Website Design and E-commerce.
